Steffie Shields is a photographer, writer and lecturer specialising in historic landscapes, gardens and plant portraiture. She supplies Garden Matters Photographic Agency. Her work has been published widely.

Steffie is a regular contributor of illustrated articles to Lincolnshire Life. She is a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society, member of the Garden History Society, the Garden Media Guild (Photographers' Group) and the Professional Garden Photographers Association. She is Acting Chairman of Lincolnshire Gardens Trust and Vice-Chairman of the (national) Association of Gardens Trusts. She is on the Tutors Panel of the University of Cambridge, Institute of Continuing Education, Madingley.
